About Goldie’s Art Bar
Goldie’s Art Bar is a creative café and hands-on art experience opening in the heart of Grass Valley. We’re a place to make something, enjoy a drink and a snack, and stay awhile. We combine a welcoming café atmosphere with guided and self-directed art experiences, a thoughtfully selected retail collection and a warm community spirit.
We’re newly opening, so routines will continue to evolve as we learn what works best. The right person is comfortable with change, willing to pitch in and genuinely invested in helping Goldie’s become a place people want to return to.
About the Role
The Front of House Team Member owns the customer-facing side of the shift. You’ll welcome guests, manage the register, prepare beverages, serve alcohol, support art projects and help keep the retail, seating and project areas running smoothly.
This is not a management position. The owner or assistant manager will have the floor, but you’ll be trusted to manage your assigned station, complete opening and closing responsibilities and notice what needs attention without waiting to be asked. You’ll also be gradually cross-trained in basic kitchen support so you can help with breaks, rushes and shared responsibilities when needed.
Core Schedule
Friday 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Saturday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Sunday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Approximately 18.5 paid hours per week
Availability for all three core shifts is required. As Goldie’s gets established and grows, schedules and staffing needs may evolve. There may be opportunities for additional hours over time, including Wednesday evening workshops, special events, training and team coverage. Any additional shifts would be discussed in advance and based on your interest and availability.
