Good things come from good people.

At Goldie’s, we care about the people behind the things we serve, sell, and share.

Whenever possible, we seek out independent artists, makers, and businesses we feel good about supporting. We’re especially committed to supporting women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ people, and others from underrepresented communities by choosing their businesses and work when we can.

Of course, not everything at Goldie’s comes from a small or independent business. We rely on trusted suppliers and wholesalers, too. But where we have a choice, we try to make it thoughtfully—choosing things that are well made, delicious, interesting, or simply bring a little more joy to your day.

Our mix of artists and makers is always changing, so there’s often someone—or something—new to discover.

Here are a few of the people and businesses we’re happy to have at Goldie’s.

Little Waves Coffee Roasters

The coffee we pour at Goldie’s comes from Little Waves Coffee Roasters, an independent, Latina-led and women-forward roastery in Durham, North Carolina.

Little Waves makes exceptional coffee while putting just as much care into the relationships behind it—from the people who grow their coffee to the community they’ve built around it. They were named Roast Magazine’s 2022 Roaster of the Year, but what really won us over was simple: great coffee made by people whose approach we admire.

At Goldie’s: House coffee
Based in: Durham, North Carolina
Why we love them: Really good coffee, thoughtful sourcing, and people who care about the way they do business.

Big Heart Tea Co.

The hot tea we serve at Goldie’s comes from Big Heart Tea Co., a woman-owned tea company based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Big Heart makes really good tea with a thoughtful approach to sourcing, using organic herbs and working directly with small tea farms. We love their quality, their values, and their wonderfully unfussy attitude about tea.

At Goldie’s: Hot tea
Based in: St. Louis, Missouri
Why we love them: Delicious tea, thoughtful sourcing, and a woman-owned business that takes its tea seriously without taking itself too seriously.

Blue Star Press

Some of the books and creative finds on our shelves come from Blue Star Press, an independent publisher based in Bend, Oregon.

They work with artists, authors, and creative thinkers to create books, games, and other beautifully designed things that encourage curiosity and creativity—a natural fit for Goldie’s.

At Goldie’s: Books, creative activities & gifts
Based in: Bend, Oregon
Why we love them: Independent, creativity-minded, and full of things that make you want to create.

Think We’d Be a Good Fit?

We love discovering new artists, makers, and products. If you make something you think would feel at home at Goldie’s, we’d love to hear about it.

We’re a small team and may not be able to respond to every submission, but if it feels like a good fit, we’ll be in touch.

Thank you,
